Cruickshank, Garth

From Banff in Scotland, Garth Cruickshank, winner of the Perrier Best Newcomer award 2001, currently resides in London. He has gained critical acclaim in various shows and is now working towards a 10th anniversary performance at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2011. Having lived in Edinburgh for 15 years, his knowledge of the city and it's culture lead to an opportunity to work with Tony Black, the author of the "Gus Dury" novels. Although having never met, Garth and Tony were brought together by a mutual journalistic acquaintance, Andrew Midgley, Garth's former manager and one of Tony's colleagues at Edinburgh newspaper The Scotsman.
