CWA Dagger Shortlists 2019

There's not long to go until the winners of the CWA Daggers 2019 are announced and we certainly do not envy the judging panel this year! Claire Askew's All the Hidden Truths is shortlisted for both the John Creasey and the Gold Dagger. Aurora's Vanda Symon is also up for the John Creasey for the first novel in her New Zealand-set crime series featuring Sam Shepherd. Jumping to non-fiction, The Spy and the Traitor by Ben Macintyre is shortlisted for the ALCS Gold Dagger for Non-Fiction. And we're thrilled that five out of six of the Dagger in the Library shortlistees are our authors. Congratulations to M. C. Beaton, Mark Billingham, John Connolly, Kate Ellis and Cath Staincliffe! Winners announced 24th October.
