Eden, Clarissa

Clarissa Eden was born Clarissa Churchill in 1920, the daughter of Winston Churchill’s brother, Jack Churchill. She worked as Arts reviewer for Vogue magazine, at London Films and in publishing. In 1952 she married Foreign Secretary Anthony Eden and became Prime Minister’s wife in 1955.
