Dillon, Lucy

Lucy Dillon was born in Cumbria in 1974 and while at school, wrote a play about Mary, Queen of Scots, which apparently only had two major historical inaccuracies. She edited the school magazine, all of which set her up for her first job after university, in publishing. She now divides her time between London and the Wye Valley where she enjoys walking in the Malvern Hills with her basset hounds, Violet and Bonham. In 2010 she won the Romantic Novelists' Association Novel of the Year Award for her book Lost Dogs and Lonely Hearts
