Bolitho, Janie

Janie Bolitho was born in Cornwall and was variously employed as a bookmaker's clerk, a debt collector, a tour operator's assistant and a psychiatric nurse before turning to writing full time. As well as the successful Rose Trevelyan and DCI Roper series, she wrote many stand-alone novels. Janie died in 2002 after a long illness.
