Black, Benjamin

Benjamin Black is the pen name of the Man Booker Prize-winning novelist John Banville, who was born in Wexford, Ireland, in 1945. He was educated at Christian Brothers Schools and St. Peter's College, Wexford. Since then he has worked in journalism and contributed to numerous BBC radio programmes, alongside writing many novels.
