Judith Allnatt is an acclaimed novelist, poet and short story writer. Her first novel, A Mile of River, was Simon Mayo’s Book of the Month on BBC Radio Five Live and was shortlisted for the Portico Prize for Literature. Her second novel, The Poet’s Wife, was shortlisted for the East Midlands Book Award. Short stories have featured in the Bridport Prize Anthology, the Commonwealth Short Story Awards and on BBC Radio 4’s Ones to Watch – a showcase of talented, up-and-coming writers. Judith lectures and teaches at several universities and speaks widely at literature festivals and conferences. She lives in rural Northamptonshire.
