Arnold, Gaynor

Gaynor Arnold was born in Cardiff but now lives in Birmingham. Before becoming a writer she was a social worker. Her first novel, Girl in a Blue Dress, based on the marriage of Charles Dickens, was longlisted for the Man Booker Prize 2008 and the Orange Prize for Fiction 2009.
