Peter Sheridan was born in 1952 and 44 is a portrait of his journey from adolescence into adulthood. He was born in Dublin and remains there living on the north side with his wife and children. His plays have been performed in major theatres around the world including London, New York and Montreal. He won the Rooney Prize for Literature in 1977 and was awarded writer in rewsidence at the Abbey Theatre in 1980.
