Jessica Mann was born and went to school in London. She studied archaeology at Newnham College, Cambridge, followed by Law at Leicester University. She and her archaeologist husband have two sons and two daughters and live in Cornwall. Jessica Mann has written fourteen previous novels and a non-fiction book about women crime writers. She has appeared on numerous radio and television programmes and is a freelance journalist and book reviewer.
