Cynthia Harrod-Eagles, author of over forty successful novels, studied English and History at the Universities of Edinburgh and London. She won the Young Writers’ Award in 1972 with her first novel, 'The Waiting Game', and became a full-time writer in 1978. In 1992 she won the Romantic Novel of the Year Award. She will be taking the story of the Morland family up to the present day.
