John Sackville was born in Norfolk at the same time as Apollo 14 landing on the moon. He grew up in Dorset and Somerset. He has spent many years in regional and touring theatre, including almost six months on the road as a double act with Russ Abbot, as well as productions in the West End and with the Royal Shakespeare Company. He has appeared in various film & TV productions, including The Wedding Date, Midsomer Murders, Rosemary & Thyme and as the title role in Young John Paul II for BBC1. John lives near his partner and cat by London Fields.
