He has also been a narrator to music in Stravinsky's A Soldier's Tale with the Bournemouth Symphony. On television, Oliver has appeared in Murphy's Law, Midsomer Murders and Law and Order, and in theatre as Demetrius in Purcell's The Fairy Queen and Laertes in Jonathan Miller's Hamlet.
