Having graduated from the University of Cambridge in 1998, Gabrielle trained in acting at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Arts. Since leaving, she has been in several short films and fringe plays in London, including Light Entertainment, a black comedy she co-wrote, produced and acted in at the Barons Court Theatre, Hammersmith. She is a narrator for the RNIB's 'Talking Books' service, and is currently co-writing a sitcom.
