Her theatre performances include Lady Thatcher in A Short, Sharp Shock; Hamlet in Four Woman Hamlet; Diana in Absent Friends and the Duchess in The Revenger's Tragedy. On television she has been seen in Grange Hill and Coronation Street and she has also presented a 5-part series for BBC Open University on Pure Mathematics. Her film work includes Monsters and Marriage Guidance. A regular on BBC Radio, she has worked in drama, features and for the World Service.
