Jonathan’s extensive theatre credits include twelve productions at the Manchester Royal Exchange and A Man for All Seasons at the Savoy Theatre. He has appeared in over seventy television programmes ranging from Coronation Street to Poirot and Middlemarch and his many films include The Lady Vanishes, First Knight, Hawks, Wings of Fame and Breaking the Waves. As a writer he has adapted several novels for the stage including Silas Marner, Little Women and The Count of Monte Cristo.
