A graduate of Oxford University, Judith Whale began her braodcasting career in 1954. Stage and television work followed, including an appearance in Robert Bolt’s early television version of A Man for All Seasons. After her marriage to a journalist, she taught French in Minneapolis and broadcast regularly for Radio Scolaire in Paris and for the BBC in London. Judith’s poetry readings and recitals include performances of Façade and Carnival of the Animals and she has also written for the How to Spend It page of the Financial Times.
