Marlene Sidaway was born in Thornaby-on-Tees and has had a long career working in theatres all over the country including The Madness of Esme & Shaz (Royal Court Upstairs), Hedda Gabler (Royal Exchange, Manchester) and The Dearly Beloved (Hampstead). Extensive work on radio includes twelve years as Miss Lewis in King St Junior and her many television and film credits include the BBC’s Pride and Prejudice, Cadfael, Love on a Branch Line, Coronation Street and the new courtroom series Accused.
