A graduate of Manchester University, Jonathan has worked in theatres all over the country. Recent roles include The Devil in 'The Master and Margarita'; Baron Jinx in 'The Devil's Only Sleeping'; and Malcolm in the Ludlow Festival 'Macbeth'. Previous favourites include Hitler in 'Mein Kampf, Farce' at the Traverse, Edinburgh, and Riverside Studios, London; Boswell in 'Paoli, Boswell, Bonaparte' for the French company Théâtre Point in Corsica and Paris; and the title roles in 'Richard III' and 'Macbeth', both in London and on tour. Widely experienced on screen, recent TV work includes 'The House of Eliott', 'King of the Ghetto' and 'Hannay', and on film, Tavernier's 'Death Watch'. 'The Return of the Jedi' and 'Burning Ash'. Jonathan has also recorded numerous plays, notably for the BBC World Service.
