PatriciaGallimore has been broadcasting regularly for the BBC since 1965 when she won the Carleton Hobbs student drama award. Having twice been a member of the BBC Radio Drama Company, she has played leading roles in numerous radio plays and serials and is currently probably best known for her role as Pat Archer in The Archers. She does a variety of other work, including poetry recitals, film dubbing and making occasional TV appearances. She has made many recordings for audio cassettes, including novels by H. E. Bates, Susan Hill, and a variety of other modern fiction.
