Carole Boyd worked extensively in the theatre and radio since winning the BBC Radio Drama Prize in 1966. She can be heard on Little Storyteller children's cassettes, English Language Recordings, TV and radio voice-over commercials, as well as countless plays, features and serials on BBC Radio 4. She worked with Alan Ayckbourn's company for a year and played in his production of 'Way Upstream', which also went to America, and she regularly appears as the dreaded Lynda Snell in Radio 4's 'The Archers'. She has recorded an episode of Campion, the BBC Television detective series and has participated in BBC Radio 4's 'The Gardening Quiz'.
