Catherine Jones was in the army for eight years as was her husband for twenty-five. They are now happily adjusting to life in civvie street in Oxfordshire with their three children. Catherine is the author of two previous novels, one of which was shortlisted for the 1999 Romantic Novelists' Award. She has also written a non-fiction guide to being an army wife.
