Author A-Z > Terry Darlington
Terry was brought up in Wales in the early 40s between a Sunderland Flying Boat base and some oil storage tanks. He founded Research Associates, the international market research firm, and Stone Master Marathoners. He likes boating but knows nothing about it. Monica’s father was a gardener and her mother a kitchen maid. She was the prettiest girl in Radnorshire, although that was half a century ago and the county is peopled largely by sheep. She does all the things that Terry does and can also remember where she has put things. She likes boating but knows nothing about it. The parents of Jim the whippet were Fincorrie Mood Indigo and Brynula Moonlight and Roses, themselves sprung from a long line of dogs with ridiculous names. Jim can run at 40 miles an hour. He hates boating.
