Andrea Badenoch lives in Newcastle-upon-Tyne where she lectures part-time and co-edits Writing Women, an annual anthology of new stories. Her first novel, Mortal, was described as a gritty and compelling thriller. Her second book, Driven, was published by Macmillan. Blink, her third novel, is a murder story set in County Durham in 1963.
