Michael de Larrabeiti has worked in the film industry, as a travel guide in France and Morocco, as a shepherd in Provence, as an English teacher in Casablanca and as a travel journalist for the Sunday Times. He read French and English at Trinity College, Dublin and won a scholarship to the Ecole Normale Superieure, Paris. He is the author of the much-admired Borrible Triology, as well as several other books. He is married with three grown-up daughters and lives in Oxfordshire.
