Keith Baker has been a professional journalist since 1962, writing for newspapers before becoming the Head of News and Current Affairs for radio and television in Northern Ireland. He was responsible for guiding the BBC’s journalism through some of the most difficult years of the Northern Ireland Troubles. He was also selected as one of the six ‘Fresh Talent’ authors of 1997 by W. H. Smith organisation. He is married with three children and lives in County Down.
