The story of three remarkable women and their secret war. Paulette, Vi and Jenny all volunteers, all parachuted into the Dordogne in 1942, working for Harry Bailey's SOE network. All heroines. They have different reasons for joining up, from Paulette's passionate commitment to Vi's determined sense of duty. Each in her own way begins her new life as an agent still an ordinary girl, who hopes to return in a year or two to her ordinary life. But the unnatural secretive life they lead, isolated behind enemy lines, the danger and the violence they will have to face, will change them all.Latest Additions

In an effort to rejuvenate his flagging career, novelist Ethelred Tressider embarks on a "research trip" to Egypt.
