Crime & Mystery
Synopsis
'You can't make an omelette without breaking eggs'. It was the fact that Alec Methven had apparently done so that first made the police suspicious on the island of Madeira. Despite all indications to the contrary, he had not eaten his last meal in solitude, and someone is desperate to conceal that fact. Friends, neighbours with motives and inexplicable second killing only complicate matters for Peter Corey as he keeps asking awkward questions.Latest Additions

Herring on the Nile - L. C. Tyler
In an effort to rejuvenate his flagging career, novelist Ethelred Tressider embarks on a "research trip" to Egypt. No sooner has the cruise on the Nile begun, however, than events quickly unravel: an attempt is made on Ethelred's life; the boat's engine explodes, and a passenger is found murdered. As the boat drifts out of control, suspicion falls on everyone aboard - including Ethelred.
