Synopsis
Philippa is back in the Highlands where she grew up. Amongst established friends and with a busy pattern of work taking shape, she feels that she can finally put behind her the traumas of losing her family home and the failure of her marriage.But into the quiet world of Glen Maraich comes a stranger, choosing this remote spot to lie low for a while. Jon is a man to whom life has not dealt an easy hand. Tough and self-sufficient as he is, his many good qualities have been eroded by the dubious choices he has recently made.
But Philippa makes an immediate impression on him, and he begins to look forward to their chance meetings. They are an unlikely combination. Both are wary, with painful memories they are not ready to share. Might they have a future together?
