Synopsis
Loretta Lawson is spending the weekend in a borrowed flat in New York. She has hardly arrived when she gets the first in a series of obscene and mildly threatening phone calls. Several more disturbing incidents occur which are not easy to dismiss. Loretta discovers that the one person who might be able to help her - her ex-husband John Tracey, in New York on a story - has too many problems of his own.
