To maximise the efficiency of the Advanced Search facility, please ensure that the following procedures are followed:

Always start with the information of which you are most sure. While the search facility recognises approximate spellings and keywords, it is safer to omit information which you know to be inexact or incomplete. For example, if you know a book’s Title, but are unsure of the author, enter the title only.

If you cannot find or are uncertain of the name of a Series, but you do know a title within it, search by that title only, and then select the ‘view other titles in this series’ option.

Enter product codes in full, without spaces eg. IAB990904; and ISBN in full, retaining dashes eg. 0-7531-1097-4.
